I purchased the 2023 tax software month’s ago. No problems downloading or using the software. I feel I have gotten all the tax breaks using this software package. I wish it was a bit less expensive but it’s fine when compared to other income tax programs.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I got this version as I use Robinhood for various trading. H&R Block was a nightmare to try to navigate. Also, the servers at H&R Block failed multiple times and I was in danger of filing late because of the in adequate service.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've usred H&R tax software for more than 30 years, easy to use and great value.
But as I've gotten older, the text size is so small that it's harder and harder to read, the software guy's need to fix this problem and allow for larger screen zooming to page width. The program to do Tax Estimating for next year needs more flexibility other than based on last years taxes, by allowing manul imput of Income other than 90% or 80% of last years gross incom/
