I filled them out properly but they were rejected because your system didn’t send the date of my spouse’s death. No refund still and I filled two months ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been buying this software to do my taxes for approximately 6 or 7 years. I don't care what Congress says about doing taxes on a 3 x 5 inch card, it just isn't possible nowadays. This software enables one to do one's taxes as easily as possible. It remembers all of the information from the prior year, and tries to eliminate all of the redundant entry possible. Just enter the information from the w-2's, 1099's, etc. and it figures out all of the amounts to be paid or refunded and produces professional looking tax returns. I use it to do my federal and Colorado State taxes and everything works very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone who wants to learn how to do their own taxes and not have to pay exorbitant fees that most preparers charge.
I keep buying this software only because I dread having to fill out the forms by hand and a calculator.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the Federal and State version for home. It was easy to use, just answer the questions. K1 forms were the most complicated, and all you to do is to match the line number on the K1 to H&R form. My only complaint is I waiting for updates which is IRS fault for not finalizing their forms.
