I am a long-time user and I keep coming back because the software works well and is now familiar. I have to knock a star off because we ran into their e-Filing outage on April 14th and 15th, along with many other users. It was ultimately resolved smoothly, and we didn't need to file for an extension or print and mail, but I was annoyed that it dragged out into the final day. I will use the product again, but the company should know how frustrating this was.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Unclear repetitive questions in foreign tax credit section, always very confusing. Therefore 2 stars off.
Cannot import from investment websites or w2 info easily.
Cons: Hard to import documents

I used HRBlock for many years but when filing 2023 taxes I could not file electronically as I had 8 copies of Form 8938. The software won't allow me to file electronically and I had to resort to paper copy filing.
This was new to me as I had successfully e-filed my 2022 taxes in April of 2023.
I am going to use another software for my 2024 taxes.
