I've used this software to prepare my taxes for as long as it existed, and used TaxCut (which was acquired by hrblock) before that.
overall. very good. maybe excellent.
this year (tax year 2023) for some unknown reason, the clean car credit Form 8936 was not available until very late; it was ultimately not available until 3/22, but possibly worse, it was listed as would be available 3/1. Then 3/8, Then 3/15, until it was finally available on 3/22.
On the plus side, it calculates the foreign tax credit form 1116 correctly (i tried one of the, smaller, online vendors and they did not!). So in the end, i waited, and everything turned out okay; albeit with some delay on my (large) refund.

Long term capital gains loss not carried over.

Updates were slow and the long term capital gains loss carry over was not carried over. This is a huge loss for anyone who missed it. must have had new programers.
