I have used H&R Block tax software for several years, and have never had any problems. My only complaint has been filing state taxes, but that is more on the state than the software. The software is easy to install, easy to use, and easy to recommend.

The issues began with the fact that it would import last years return. I even got the Helpdesk involved and they couldn’t get it to work either.
I couldn’t download any updates, so I had to download the application again.

I was very disappointed in this year’s system.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I have used the H&R Block tax preparation software for many years and the software imports key data from the previous year, making return preparation easy and quick. Electronic filing is quick and easy, and free for the federal return.
However, Alabama would not accept my electronic filing this year despite it being essentially the same as previous years. I suspect it is an issue with the state revenue department and not the H&R Block software.

It has always been comprehensive and easy to use. The interview questions are fantastic and cover topics by breaking out into more questions in sections relevant to my tax and filing situation.
