This year, the ability to import financial transactions from financial institutions became available quite late, something like mid-March. In 2022, my company changed its name, and I received two W2s which I reported as required. When I tried to electronically file, the nightmares began, and I ended up having to mail in both fed and state returns. I don't recall the exact error messages.
I like the software, I just think the cost for the state e-file should be included since I purchased the software. I will probably look for a software that includes the state e-file next year. I had to do my return as well as my daughters and got dinged both times for it, I had more in e=file fees than I did the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Federal works well except when it comes to K-1s, then it gets messy. The states still have a big when it comes to excluding tax exempt bonds/funds. The situation gets even messier when filing a state as a non resident. Not fond that they don’t give you at least one file per state. Would be nice to have a discount when purchasing multiple states.
