with the current tax laws, taxes are pretty straight forward. Have been using H&R app for a few years now, works for me. Cost is much better than Turbo Tax and it works just as well

It is always easy to use and evidently accurate (we have never been contacted by the IRS), The software downloads our personal info from prior year, downloads our investments from the Institutions holding them and populates the necessary forms. Very satisfied with this software.

We bought the personal 2023 tax software. It was OK but didn’t include categories for all our types of income, such as that on 1099-B forms. We had to search repeatedly within the program to find where to enter it. Now we wonder if all our information was included correctly.
Cons: Time consuming
