I'd been feeling kind of dumb for continuing to purchase taxcut the last few years when so many people just do it online for free. Not being able to submit my taxes for 12 hours or so on April 14th-15th this year was the nail in the coffin, I'll use a new service next year

Decent product, would prefer free efile for state

It was good, however if you have some investment income it becomes a little more cumbersome due to the version of the software. For the price paid I would prefer more options or at least free efile for state and federal.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

This year’s Mass. state teturn cantained an error on the limit of This year‘s state program for Massachusetts contained an error in the maximum allowance deductions for charitable contributions. I called for help but was told it couldn’t be fixed. I sent messages that weren’t answered. In the end, I had to save my state return as a pdf file and then edit the form to correct calculations by hand, then print out and mail in.
Cons: Hard to prepare
