H&R Block Delux worked as expected in most areas. I had used Turbo Tax in the past, but the price this year was too high. H&R Block was much more reasonable and worked well except for the download of financial info from Wells Fargo. They were not on the list of companies for this software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

It's a little clunky to use, but you can wade through it. One thing it did poorly was the handling of foreign tax paid by a mutual fund. Very awkward, and took me a long time to work out. Also, I was not able to import data from my financial institutions.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have used HR Taxcut program for about 12 years now and it has gotten simpler. I use the direct form fillin and do not do the questions. Never have had an audit or any problems with it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
