not very clear to use. every tax software I have is horrible or I just suck. To be honest I couldn't even upload my w-2 anywhere. it so annoying

Filling the details is simple.Only one thing. There was not a good way I could enter the transfer of money from 529 ny Savings to Rollover Ira. Form 1099-Q as secure 2.0 has permitted.

I did think that your product is very good; however, the service for me was ruined when I had to pay a fee to use my own credit card to pay my taxes. Put an app on there where I can enter my own data and pay without a fee. Your competitor, TurboTax, didn't charge me a fee for paying with my own card last year. I might have to condider going back to them. First time user of your product: somewhat happy and somewhat not.

I switched to H&R Block tax software this year as the product I had been using was no longer supported on Window 10. I found H&R Block to be less intuitive and not as user friendly. I found several corrections that had to be made by me when I reviewed my return before submitting. I also did not receive email notifications when my returns were accepted although I did get an initial email that they had been received. When I checked the status, my state said pending even though my refund had already been deposited in my checking account. I will not use this software again.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the second year, I could not file my return normally. I had to give my return to my son who filed in on his computer, I son't think I spoke to a senior advisor, like Jim, as I did last year. I am not sure I will use this program next year.

I have always used the Deluxe version of H&R Block tax software and had excellent results. For the 2025 tax season, this software did not handle Schedule K-1 from Energy Transfer. In particular, I had 16 entries to be input to Box 20. The software would only provide room for 4 entries... and none of them accepted Activity Codes begining with ZZ.
Schedule K-1 is not a simple form to process and this process made it virtually impossible.
