I've been using H&R Block tax software for 10+ years now and fairly easy to use. I'm no sure that it handled correctly the energy saving windows I had installed last year as I thought there would be a larger credit for that. Other than that, no issues.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Easy to follow prompts are great for us who don't know much about taxes. Wish the software was finalized before mid March. My taxes were done but couldn't file until the update. Meanwhile my hard drive crashed so I had to redo the taxes. Also it would be nice if pay extra to reinstall the prior year software that you already paid for.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

This year was our first time using H&R Block software instead of the other guy. It went a bit slower since it was the first time using the software but it was pretty user friendly and went smoothly.

I have used this product for almost 20 years and it seems to lose quality every year. Searching within the app only produces limited, not complete, results, even though the items/subjects being searched are in the program. Instructions are not always clear or accurate or complete. Easy to enter data, but not easy to retrieve it later.
