This software is getting old. I increasingly have to go into the forms and manually enter data for tax items that should have been included -- for example, regarding deductibility of charitable donations is really clunky. Also the help is sometimes cryptic and does not give enough information.

Good and Bad

I liked I could prepare my 2025 returns using Win 10 and not have to upgrade to Win 11, like TurboTax makes its clients. However, in H&R, one cannot print more than one copy of a return at any time. And the Colorado No tax on Overtime addition does not come up automatically, you have to override it in the form itself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Year after year the same problems with your software--1) it will not update Fed & State, even though it goes through the process, and 2) it fails to recognize that I have bought and paid for my state program. Both of these issues require me to contact your service people and go through a "let's try this and see if it works" agonizing process. Even then, the update is good for that call only.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
