Been using for a few years and works well. Always annoyed when finished though when filing. No cost for federal filing, BUT for state filing, the charge is almost as much as I pay for the whole program. Also, the future year tax planning section is not very user friendly.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Shifting to the required Windows 10 with the very time-consuming associated file and printer issues has discouraged my future H&R use. Cannot track entries.

I have used this software for years. This year I had 2 EV tax credits and was unable to input them. H&R kept setting deadlines for when their software would be updated so I could submit the credits. Deadline after deadline was missed and communication was very poor. Other tax platforms did not have this issue. In total this delayed my tax return by 2 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
