I bought what was advertised as 2023 HR Deluxe + State. Did this for years. I got the code & program online. I filled out Fed data, then went to State and it said I had to buy State ! Total waste of time. I had to get state form from my State and enter Fed data again + state data and snail mail it in.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used H&R Block for about 6 years now. I don't worry about doing our taxes with the help of the H&R Block download. It makes doing the taxes a lot simpler. I especially like the feature where I can connect the tax software with my financial institution's website and it imports all my investment earnings and puts those numbers in the correct spaces on the tax form.
