I like using the H&R Block tax prep software. I have used it for years, and have never had an issue.
The part of using the software, that I dislike is the "Upsell" that occurs while using the program.
It is also quite a Trek to get the program at a low price. Some places sell it for almost twice the price as others, so it takes a lot of time searching for the best price.

I have used the product for years and it is easy to use. The interview questions do a good job of ensuring all applicable income sources and deductions are identified. The only issue with the Mac version is updating cannot be done within the software I have to go to the website to accomplish this. Otherwise I would have rated this a 5 instead of a 4.

I have not been using this program for very long. It is a user friendly program, educating you as you go. My only concern at the moment lays with the IRS. I don't understand why an e-filed tax return takes over a month to process.

Horrible experience

Because of changes made ti the program, first I had to reload the program as it crashed at the first update. That was caused by not being logged into my single user as "administrator."
Then, due to changes made in the wrapup and filing, I failed to e-file my taxes, thinking that I had completed filing. Programmer had moved the "print forms" page to come after filling in bank transfer information. That page has in the past been at the very end of e-file process. Big thanks to whoever did that absolutely stupid change!!!
