I have been using H&R software for federal and state taxes for more than 15 years. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but H&R Block has consistently guided my through annual taxes with no error and no worries.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I have used H&R software for federal filings for over 12 years. The 2023 version was the most cumbersome version to-date. It was not user friendly and difficult to.navigate. i will likely use a competitor when preparing 2024 taxes.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used your software for more than ten years. Up until the last couple of years, we were satisfied, but it has gotten worse instead of better. It has left us wondering if we might get audited. This last year, we couldn't even talk to a real person. The year before, we had to make an appt for someone to call us back. I think it's time to switch.

I have been using this for a number of years, from back when it was Tax Cut. It does a good job, especially for simple returns. Since we've retired and have more investments it is a little harder, but it still does everything we need.
