I encountered problems this year never before in 10 years of the H&R Block programs. It would not load last years return, no mater what I tried. As a result, I missed making an entry that has resulted in letter from IRS. I must consider changing for next year considering all the other problems I encountered.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

For 2023 taxes I bought an EV. The forms to file weren't done until 2-3 weeks before the filing deadline. Providing the form reset my entries in the program and I had to go back thru to double check before it started reporting the right figures.
Some sort of glitch happens nearly every year.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
