I had to ask for a refund as I could not complete my taxes and submit the EV credit. I was able to do so with a competitors’s software the same day.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Multi-year use of H&R Block products had me confident that this year's product would continue to let me complete my taxes accurately and in a straight forward manner. I do use IRS forms instructions to supplement and clarify when needed but for the most part I have relied on H&R Block Deluxe Software to be intuitive and thorough.
