I use HR Block every year to do my daughter's taxes in another state as well as my taxes. The inability of HR Bock to transmit my return and communicate with its users is inexcusable. I had to go onto Google and find a group of users who could not submit on 4/15.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using hr block tax program for over 7 years. Never a hitch or problem using the program. Started using it when current other. Tax program caused state tax filing problem with wrong tax calculations. Wouldn't cover penalty plus interest due state on incorrect tax tables in their program.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I have been using H&R Block for about 30m years. I originally used Turbo Tax when I was living oversees and couldn't get tax forms fast enough to file. That was pre internet. After a few years I switched to H&R for cost reasons. I tried to go back to Turbo tax once, but the H&R block files did not transfer, so have stuck with H&R ever since.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a tax product. First the federal filing crashed. Now the state will not process because the federal could not be filed.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
