Cheaper than TurboTax but you get what you pay for

Bought this because it was less expensive than TurboTax and appeared to do the same thing. However, it does not handle form 1116 and the Foreign Tax Credit as well, could be improved.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Love this program. I had new investments income and Qualified Charitable Disributions this year. They handled it all easily. My only complaint was that they charged my card twice for the one state e-file I did. That won't keep me from continuing to use H&R Block software.

For over 20 years I used Turbo Tax, then a friend told me I was losing money by using Turbo. That H&R Block doesn’t have all those extra fees/hidden fees that Turbo Tax has. So I gave H&R Block a try and I get more money back! H&R truly saves!!
I’ve been using H&R Block Software for about 6 years now. I LOVE IT and it very user friendly…that means it’s very easy to follow. If you get to something you don’t understand, it will explain it to you. H&R Block is the only way for me. Turbo Tax can’t persuade me with any deals to return to them. Trust that!
