Standard filing great....Amended filing terrible

I have used HRB for over 10 years without issue and easy to use. This year I needed to amend my return and this product fell SHORT!! The instructions are hard to follow and there is no scripted procedure to follow. Basically you end up filling on paper, disappointing.
Pros: Easy to prepare

As the title suggests, we were very pleased with the ease, accuracy, interconnections and speed of the Federal forms. However, several of the necessary forms or inputs for the Colorado income tax had to be either filled via PDF (and were NOT included in the state version) or copied from a work sheet. This resulted in having to send the CO taxes through snail mail.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So disappointed in this product. Very seriously doubt I will use next year. For two years in a row I've been unable to complete my tax return, yes it is a bit complex but nothing this software hasn't been able to handle in past years. This year return was completely finished, EXCEPT software was not "able" to be electronically sent, same thing for last year. Used FREE tax software on IRS website, and State was much cheaper to send, and no sales tax added!
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
