I guess the tax code is so complicated that making a program to simplify it is difficult. I believe the programmers did the best they could to make it easier for a non-CPA to use.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Does a good job but I wish that you could just do the standard deduction without going through the itemized deductions when you know that you will not come close to the standard deduction.
