After 20 years of Turbotax panic, it has been refreshing to use a professional product that works when installed and doesn't create as many or more issues than it solves. The added flag showing which forms imported from last year have NOT been changed was nice.

The help section is virtually non-existent and more times than not, it essentially said “go look it up on IRS(dot)gov”
The font is microscopic. Data such as effective tax rate are non-existent. It makes filing choices for you and never tells you why.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your State of Michigan software failed to compute an accurate Michigan income tax return. Specifically, the program failed to carry over my disability pension income to the household resources section of the Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit. Consequently, household resources were understated, and the credit was overstated. I had to manually file an amended return.
When I called to tell HR Block about the failure the person on the phone just said ok. No thank you or sorry for your inconvenience.
