I've used H&R Block software for years and it's been good, but the 2025 version was truly terrible. Full of glitches and missing many of the prompts I have come to rely on. What happened at the company to turn a reliable product into such a mess? I don't think I will use it again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used the H&R Block software to prepare my taxes for at least 5 years, and I would never use anything else. It is extremely easy to use, and I can complete my return in less than 30 minutes, and it is a very economical way to do your taxes.

Been using for over 20 years, easy to use. Only complaint is when trying to download updates or transmitting tax data to IRS sometimes this takes several attemps, even if I have disabled the firewall.

I have been using this app for more than 10 years now. I love the usability but would like to see some improvements on the explanations for certain items. For example, I recently completed a NJ-1040NR return that took too long to complete because I had to search for answers outside of the program.
