H&R Block software is overpriced and stagnant. It has felt the same for maybe 10 years. No innovation, barely any improvements. And you probably support keeping the complexity in the Tax code to protect your market niche. You THINK staying ahead of TurboTax is a win, but we hate using your software year after year. We’re basically paying for your annual advertising.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall good. Accurate. Needs better forms screens. Need better explanations for some item’s especially deductions. Price widely varies from different platforms and discounts. Wish they would have more fixed price. Hate hunting the internet for the best offer on my version.

The program is easy to use. I've used it since it was tax cut and a paper pamphlet. One problem was the program wasn't complete the 1st of February. I had to wait until the 9th to complete the S S interview and file. That's why only 4 stars.

Do not like the New York State In.come Tax part of the program. It ask for your Driver License ID number of Nine Digits. It never accepts my information even though I enter it . I always have to mail in my return and cannot send electronically. Otherwise I like it fine.
