I have used this product for years and this year was the least user friendly. I do not use Google Chrome and there were no instructions to use Google Chrome for installation. I never used Chrome in prior years snd the
program did not load correctly. I never did get the State to work.

The tax software is mostly easy to understand. It seemed a little less clear this year than in the past. Not sure, but I think a few items were less easy to follow where it was computed and then entered on the form. Overall it is easy to use and beats paying 10X the cost to have someone do them.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have a pretty basic tax return. I've used H&R Block software for years because I like to do things myself and I like to e-file from home.
This year, the whole thing failed on me and I couldn't get it to fix the issue. I received an error on filing that my PIN was incorrect, but I hadn't entered one. Nor could I find anywhere to check or clear this "incorrect PIN".
I ended up having to file on paper for both federal and state.
