The software interview was easy to use but after I filed my state taxes and paid what I thought I owed, I received a check back because I over paid.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I called and wrote several times to try to get a 1095A input issue resolved that was keeping me from being able to file my daughter & her husband's return electronically. Eventually gave up and printed it out and filed a paper return. Very disappointed that something that seemed like a simple software issue was never resolved. My son-in-law only had Marketplace insurance for one month for January 2023. They were not married until August so it was just him on it, my daughter had her own coverage from her job. Yet the software kept saying I needed to complete Column A, even though it was completed. I will not in all the years I have used your tax software this is the first time I have had an issue. But still, I was very disappointed.
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using it for years very disappointed this year had a field on a state income tax that it would not allow me to update since the return in anyways pretty sure of it thinking of using a different product next year

I have been an HR Block tax program user for many years. It has been interesting to see the continuing improvement in the program. As a previous software writer I always strived to write from the perspective of the user of my programs. It shows that HR Block continues to follow that perspective. A program my be great but if a user can't figure why or what the program is doing, that user will not be back next time he has a need. Keep up the good work!
