I bought this in January so I could get my taxes done and in to get an early refund. Each year I get frustrated because I have to wait for the February update before my taxes were accepted, but that's not H&R's fault.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Info said H&R Block software included form for tax credit for in home EV charger. Wrong. Had to manipulate data to file and then couldn't be efiled. Anxiety over mailing, waiting 4 weeks to show received another 4 to get refund approved.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Overall, But Some Explanations Are Not Clear

The program will internally split money from a W-2 without any explanation requiring you to do a lot of digging to figure out what it did. It’s a pain when you are trying to get things finished. Most things are good. Not all.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
