The features and program itself were great. The one thing I did not like was that I had to wait to complete and submit my tax return until after certain updates were finished with the program. I like doing my taxes in February to get them done, but had to wait until March for the updates to be done before I could actually submit my taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

This program lead me down a path that I would be able to file amended returns but it wouldn't. The program is dated and needs to be refreshed since it has the same look and features for too many years.
Pros: Easy to import documents

For two years in a row, H&R Tax Software Deluxe + State version has failed to send the state a copy of the Federal file required (as most states require). Instead, wasted time goes by until a letter is sent by the state asking for the copy of the Federal return. I also find it somewhat useless for filing amended states returns. Furthermore, it does not help much when filing retirement withdrawals and can all other errors to occur.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used your software since the Tax Cut days. Being clergy, I know how difficult filing can be. In 20 years, I have never been audited once and only had the IRS make one small correction. While it can be done without software, this makes the process simple, quick, and work your built in checks, error free. Keep up the good work and always have a bundle with state taxes. Thanks again.
