I've been using this software for almost 10 years, so I should give it five stars. But this year, after I filed my taxes, my file disappeared and I can't find it anywhere. I don't know where the problem is? My work was no different than usual.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Program failed to total sums on 1099-B forms. Tried multiple times to get HRBlock to correct. Took many weeks of claiming it was a problem with the form upload. Finally they fixed the program problem just a few days before the filing deadline.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find the process to be simple and ease to use. After using the software for many years, I find it very efficient to import and add in all my pertinent tax data. If you follow all the prompts from the beginning to end, you'll be sure not to miss any tax credits and deductions specific to your individual situation. I purchase the software early in the season and enter my data as I receive it from various organizations. Also, it gives me extra time to review the latest IRS changes, updates, and any new forms. modifications. It's almost foolproof! One negative, the new AI interface added for their time this year was useless.
