I bought this software to do federal and state taxes for my daughters. The package comes with up to 5 federal and one state and any additional state is an upcharge. the upcharge I feel is way out of line price wise. it's like buying a whole additional package

I've been using this product and its predecessors for over 20 years. It has worked well for me as far as it goes. It made a small mistake once and my money was refunded quickly. I am a retired financial exec so may not be the best judge of how well it works for those with less expertise. Ex: some of the less frequent credits are simply listed and there are no questions leading you to investigate.
