For some reason, the program wouldn't let me e-file my state tax return. Apparently the program was not set up to accommodate certain types of interest income. Wierd.
Cons: Hard to import documents

It did not work, and the import mistake from your 2024 software led the IRS notice. Plus your CSR refused to knowledge it as technical bug in the software.

Easy to use and import from last year's return. User interface is clean and well organized. Only issue is sometimes you get warnings or alerts for items you clearly intended to leave blank. Yes, I'm 63, but no I'm not taking social security or Medicare.

The software kept changing values and auto filling information incorrectly. It was tremendously difficult to file our state returns. I would not recommend this product if your taxes are at all complex or in multiple jurisdictions.

I used TurboTax for over 20 years, but when they said it would only work with Windows 11 this year I made the switch to H&R Block. The differences took some getting used to but overall I am pleased with the software. I just wish I could still get it on CD instead of just through download.
