I have used this software for the past few years and have been happy with it. However, this year I could not download information from Merrill Lynch and so this problem prevented me from filing on time. Instead, I have to wait for the time to manually enter a lengthy 1099R. Tried various ways to contact you but to no avail. Will think twice before going with you next year. Pity.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Going through this program seemed harder to me than it has in the past. In the AI Help assistant didn’t help. It only answers general tax questions I guess. Specific questions like where do I enter information from a pension it said it couldn’t help with that kind of question? I was able to import Needed forms, but then had to go back and review review confirm several entries and save after each one to pass the final review that did not seem necessary
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I could not remove the imported 2024 1099R from the PA return after it was transferred to the PA return. After starting over, I imported the 2024 return, removed the 1099R, transferred to PA, then both returns were filed without errors.
