I have been using H&R Block tax software for a number of years. It has been easy to use, informative, and feature rich. I have never had an issue with it. It allows me to do something I hate to do (file taxes) much easier.

I like almost everything about HRBlock. It is perfect for my needs. However, half the time the software update does not complete the cycle. It takes multiple tries to get the update.

Your Alabama state tax does not work. It cannot handle retired military, social security which are not taxed in Alabama. Result is Alabama will not accept return due to your computations. Alabama states no tax return required.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2022 - Problems with connecting to Fidelity website to bring in transaction. Had to use another tax package.
2023 - PA Department of Revenue notified me I was missing Schedule A, B, and E. They do not print when you print the entire PA taxes for filing.
Could use more clarity when selling a home that has been used for rental/personal use.
