I got frustrated with TurboTax, so I tries H&R this year after CNET gave it a "best in class" review; it wasn't. The program is NOT as user friendly as TT, but adequate. I have a limited partnership stock (K1) to enter & I still don't think it was entered properly due to the cumbersome way H&R formats the K1 inputs; illogical & not like the form(?). No reason for this since TT was so much easier. Also, irritating was the repeated 'Verification" cycles I had to go through each time I got into H&R. Why not verify once & if there's no changes, it's complete?

PDF converter that you required is absolutely antiquated and garbage. Pdf995 is absolute trash. I could not efile in Colorado because of this garbage software. Do better

I also used the on-line version of HR Block and I like the layout and functionality much better. It costs more than the software which I don't totally understand. The reason for using the online version was that the software showed a large liability. It turns out that I made a mistake entering social security payments. I was able to quickly identify the error on-line. That was not the case with the software.

Not at all happy, issues I had last year are still present, next year I'll go with another company. I could not file my state returns without a fee, even though state e-filing is free. Its not much of a bargain with these other fees added
