Major Failure of H&R Block
on May 29, 2024

The failure of H & R Block’s Tax Software on April 15 to e-file my federal taxes caused my taxes to be paid twice. Not knowing if or when the tax software would file my taxes on time, I printed and mailed my federal tax forms so my taxes would be filed on time. Imagine my surprise when my mailed tax check and the e-file payment were deducted from my checking account.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked okay for our simple taxes, but see problems

The Federal Return worked great and the price included the cost of e-filing.
The State Return did not include the cost of e-filing, which made it a very expensive product for our simple return. Please include free state e-filing in the Deluxe package price next year.
