I have used your software for years but this year very frustrated. Ran the program, completed taxes, printed copy. E-filed and return rejected. There is no explanation on why it was rejected or instructions on how to fix it. Tried the help section to no avail. Now it's 4/15 and I'll have to sign and mail my return and see what happens. Any refund will be delayed. Not sure I'll use again.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unclear directions, updating software into April

I wish I had not purchased this software. I had to wait until April to file because the software had a major update at the end of March. Then the software updated again as I was trying to file in April, which caused several issues. Additionally, the cost of filing via credit card should be clear, since it is a known, or you should provide the option to change your mind once the cost is revealed (2.5%!!! surcharge) and is found to be completely excessive. Additionally, the software claimed that I may owe more from last year, even though I used your software to prepare my return, and my data is virtually identical to last year. I will never use this software again.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

you automatically sent me the software and as always it worked fine. BUT --- I now have a Chromebook and your software does NOT work on it. I had to dig and find computer I was throwing out to do the taxes. Next year I will not be able to do this unless you change things

Overall, I like the program and the way it flows. Sometimes it feels like you are going in circles when you are looking for a particular item, rather than fallowing the walkthrough they provide. I've been a user for decades and will continue to use.

The tax software worked fairly well. However, when I went to e-file / submit it took forever trying to connect and finally it came up and said can't connect to server and check my internet, proxy server, etc. I closed that notification and it instantly connected and submitted by state / federal. Inside the program it still shows I haven't submitted. I did this in late March - shouldn't be a server issue and my high-speed internet working perfectly. Had same issue when attempting to e-file my Dad's taxes, but didn't submit on the 2nd try and I had to try again the next day. Next day encountered the same issue, but it did instantly submit after first giving the connection error. We've brought the software for many years and never had any issues with e-filing submit - this needs to get fixed!!

I've been using H&R Block software for over 20 years. Overall I'm happy with the product. My one complaint is when I'm ready to submit and I want to direct funds to/from my bank account I have to enter the bank routing number and account number 4 times. twice for Federal and twice for State. I understand the need to ask twice to ensure correct information, but 4 times? And, why not have the software remember this information from last year?
