I’ve been using H&R Block software for many years. Only reason I did not give 5 star was due to the codes sometimes not working and I had to call. Otherwise, it’s simple to use and convenient.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Have used for years. Simple to use. Has an issue with an update. Received a error message but it wasn't clear on how to fix. Called support the the first few people were clueless. Finally got someone who knew the problem and the update worked.

Easy to use. Had to start over this year because I lost previous data. Because of the ease of use it was easy to reconstruct my tax. Only downside is H&R Block is not iPad friendly.

The software is easy to use. It miscalculated a senior circuit breaker tax credit on the state return and charged and absurd amount of money to fine the state return for a very simple return. I will probably not use it again.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This software offers 5 federal submissions and 1 state, but when I needed to prepare a send state return, it was VERY DIFFICULT to buy and download another NY state return to file.
Cons: Hard to import documents
