Just one example: for 2 years the "Save as PDF" feature on the file menu doesn't work. It takes a time-consuming inefficient way around the problem to get the job done. Every year there's something that used to work, and then doesn't.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I like this software better than Turbo Tax. Although I did have to search for some forms, the search function worked well once I got used to it. I like that it doesn't send you down a bunch of rabbit holes, and waste your time on items you need like Turbo Tax does.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

No problem doing the taxes, only thing I ran into was filing the state. I could not find a way to pay and file state taxes online. So I printed them out and mailed them in.

I've consistently used Block for years...I just can't remember how many.
The "prompts" are easy to understand and answer. The "questions" section does a good job of clarifying the 1040's demands. The error checker finds and calls your attention to items that might draw attention to your return. The only problem I had this year was the inability to enter my taxes electronically. No matter how many times I tried it was rejected. The same form mailed in was accepted, but at a cost of preparing the paper copy and mailing.
