I bought this again for the 2023 taxes as always. It seems HRB decided to stop supporting those of us that do stock and options trading by decreasing the size of the table for entries you can import to a small number like 150. After spending many hours with your technical folks I finally found one that know the problem and understood what was happening. I had to try one of your competitor's software to get my taxes completed!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this product for the first time. Thought I would give it a try. I bought the option that includes one State filing. When it came to filing with the state, it asked for my credit card to pay the state tax, but it charged me for the full amount. TurboTax does not make me pay for the state tax with their software. I will NOT use your software again.

I've used HR Block tax software since the days it was sponsored by Kiplinger's as "Tax Cut". This past tax season I was a bit perplexed when it came to calculating the potential tax penalty tied to my sister's return. Clearly she was under withheld...a clear mistake on her part however the software didn't make any query tied to doing a calculation so we submitted without such assuming the IRS would bill her if in fact the penalty applied.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
