It is a good tax program however last year's seemed to be a little bit cumbersome navigating thru a few of the pages. And I had trouble downloading info from last year's taxes. I have used this program for 8 years now, and tell everyone about the program.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Have used for many years. Problem is when you get a new computer the program cannot be transferred. It states you can download it again, but I have never figured out how to do that. I liked having a disc, but those times seem to be gone.

The tool is fairly good. I would request future enhancements of providing walk-through/better descriptions for what retirees have to complete when doing taxes (I assist my parents who will be retiring this year). I currently find it a bit confusing for entering the pension information and "determining the taxable amount".
As far as my taxes, I owed federal this year, provided my bank information during the last steps of the HR Tool. I noticed that the money was not taken right away although my Federal was accepted. A couple of weeks ago in June, I got a letter from IRS regarding the oweded amount that now had a penalty attached to it. Was it the tool or IRS?
