I've been using this software for the past 5 years and love it. I recommend it to everyone. Once you do it on your computer the next year you just have to enter a few numbers and you're done. It also checks your work as you go. No mistakes. Can't say enough about it!

With Block providing download capability for 1099s, I am very pleased in general. Their inability to handle 199A dividends on a 10-K was disappointing and resulted in a higher tax amount. The program's suggestion to consult a paid preparer (when they handle 199A dividends from a 1040-Div was inappropriate.) Requiring additional payment for efiling one state return is petty.
Other than that, I'd rate the 5 stars.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
