Mostly pleased overall

I have been using this software for years and have been overall happy with the results. I always purchase the Deluxe + State because it includes one state download. What I was not really happy with is that it did not include one free e-file for the state. I thought it used to include one free state e-filing but no longer does. The price keeps going up but the services stay the same or are decreased. Would like to see the one free state e-filing included in the future. Other than that I would highly recommend this software. It has not let me down yet. My returns are relatively simple and I have not had to import documents or anything difficult. It has been very straight forward with the directions and results.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I have been using HR Block software regularly for some time. For most parts, it is easy and reasonably intuitive to work with. But in the case of Schedule K-1 and related forms to fill, the software instructions are not very clear.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

I’m disappointed as it don’t calculate my claim correctly. The system ingested my 1099 and W2s, but didn’t put in the correct numbers which has now halted my claim with the IRS for more than 5 months. I’m not sure I’ll use this service anymore.
