Inability to import investment accounts was very disappointing. This was the first year my Merrill accounts had to be manually entered.

NEVER ALLOWED ME TO GET STATE FORM. THEN WHILE TRYINY TO GET FORM PROGRAM WINKED OUT AND THEN AFTER FILING FED SOMEHOW MY FED WAS DELETED LEADING ME TO DO ENTIRE OVER AGAIN ONLY TO FIND OUT ONLY 3/4 OF PROGRAM WORKED !!! PLEASE GET BACK TO DISC

The federal portion worked fine, but the state never pulled into it what i paid in taxes from my work w2. I tried multiple times to figure out how to manually input it but it would never let me it kept saying I owed money to Illinois. I had to go onto the Illinois department of revenue website and fill it out manually and submit it. I paid extra to have the deluxe with state to not have to do that but it didn't work.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

I bought it as soon as it came out. I made a mistake and got Deluxe but no state. Bought a new package, because the cost was the same for the state and the new package. HR did not figure my taxes correctly, the state made changes to my return.
