I've been using H&R Block Deluxe Software for several years and am always happy with the service. The software is easy to download and install, and the program guides you through the process of preparing my taxes. I was able to prepare both my Federal and State Tax returns, review my work for potential errors and problems, and e-file my returns in an hour. The IRS had accepted my return less than an hour after I filed, and the State was accepted later that day.

the only problem i had was getting verified as to who i was. I am over 80 yrs old and am not as computer savvy as the younger users that understand digital language.

Smarter validation checks need better explanations

A generally good interview and filing system. Its downside is the validation and accuracy checks will take you to forms where null data is hard to understand, and the form itself may be unnecessary artifact of deductions calculus not needed for standard deductions.
Pros: Fast
