Better than 2023 edition but still needs work. This year added the 8606 form for retirement accounts but that part was an update 2/7. For some reason it keep saying I had to pay for excess distributions. When I first filled out forms it calculated everything right but after the update it did not. I finally figured out the issue. Even though I had said I had qcds and a conversion of xx amount, the update treated the conversion as extra distribution that I needed to pay tax on. Finally embedded in the download file from my ira company (y I u have topen up the form), there is a line that you must enter the amount of the conversion.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
