easy to use, explains the issues very well.We have a pretty common tax situation, with mortgage, interest, some stock, ut no exceptional issues. So most things don't apply to us. The software mentions "most common" a lot, which helps, but we still have to read all those exceptions only to find out they don't apply.

H&R Block’s tax software makes doing my taxes easy. Just fill in the numbers from your tax forms, or import them from your financial institution, and the software does the rest. With 5 free Federal filings I can do ours, my mother-in-law’s, and my children’s taxes easily. The Deluxe version includes the software for any one state so finishing my state taxes takes only a few minutes. I buy this product every year, so I can import the previous year’s taxes as a starting point. I’d never go back to doing my taxes manually or hiring an accountant.

I’m happy with H&R Block software and it’s certainly more cost effective than TurboTax (I used TurboTax for many years until they decided to start cannibalizing their customers)

But I’m only giving H&R Block 3 stars in this review because I got here from a link they sent me that asked for “Feedback”. I was happy to provide direct, private feedback to H&R Block, as their invitation suggested. However, I did not wish to post a public review to the Universe to help them sell more Product. Since they decided to pull a classic bait-and-switch technique on me, I will make my aggravation known to the Universe and give them only 3 stars instead of 4. I hope someone from H&R Block sees this and decides to take notice.
