I’ve been buying and using this software for many years. It’s still a good value however the prices were up significantly this year from prior years. That was very noticeable. Also it seemed to want me to enter social security income simply because of my age and kept flagging it as an “issue”. I wasn’t able to remove that issue despite my attempts to do so even though I don’t get social security yet. Otherwise good package and very useful.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

All was fine until I needed to make a correction during the review process. Older versions would be able to take me directly to the error area for correction. This version made it very difficult to make a correction. There was no "take me there" process.

H$R Block has been my "go to" for years. However, with the major price increase this year and the new 60 day rule added, I doubl it it will be my choice next year

Instructions were easy to follow and the screens flowed seamlessly. I like how the previous year’s data is refreshed which makes it easy to inadvertently miss a form or payment. I did not itemize as the standard deduction was better for us so I can’t speak to that subset of questions. I have previously volunteered as an AARP tax aide and I find this software is more user friendly.
