Software cost doesn't include state e-file fees

When buying the tax year software, for both federal and state, and with it being called "deluxe"; one would assume it would cover the e-file costs for both, not just one. Paying for software to make it easier and then finding out that you will again have to pay to file for state, is a slap in face. Predatory practice at the least, completely dishonest and reprehensible at the worst.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As usual using your software was relatively easy. I just wish pressure could be put on institutions to have their forms ready by the end of January. seems they keep pushing back later and later. I want to file ASAP each year and not wait for the 4/15 rush.

I am a long time user of the Block tax program and just prefer it to the more expensive Turbo Tax. When I see the Learn More prompt I like to check it out, even areas that do not apply to me. Also easy to make copies of forms you might need
