It is very good software, but could use a couple of tweaks.
1) The RMD questions are confusing. Should be a simple question, "Did you take tour RMD?"
2) Move the direct payments to the IRS closer to the start.

I’ve used H&R Block software for over 10 years. This year I uncovered a flaw in H&R software that cost me $1,150 in state return. The software’s homepage showed a state return of $3,271, but the State tax form showed a return of $2,121. Unfortunately, I uncovered this when doing my 2024 tax forms due to H&R Block’s auto populate feature for 2023 state tax return, which didn’t match my actual return. I had the same problem this year, but was able to fix it before the return was submitted, since I knew what I was looking for. This year’s problem was caused by updating a field. Though the homepage showed the correct refund amount the form did not. This was fixed by placing a $0 in the offending field. Since I built myself a tax planner database with current tax tables, I can predict my taxes pretty close. Now I do not trust the software but will use it since I know how to fix the problem and can pretty much predict what my federal and state taxes will be.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I’ve been an H&R Block tax software user for 10 years now and have always been pleased, except for this year. The software appears to not have been thoroughly tested prior to deploying. For example, for one of my 1099-R entries the software would update the return showing one running result for a refund, then upon saving the return, and reopening, the running refunds result would change. Re-entering would update the result, but saving again would change the result. Also, when wrapping up the state file kept showing 6 issues that needed to be resolved. The issues claimed the state, state ID number, and distribution information for each of the 6 1099-R entries was missing, when in fact the data was indeed entered. Re-entering the information didn’t fix the problem. For each 1099-R the form shows two fields each for entering the state info, so entered the data in the second row, leaving the same data in the first row, and that fixed the problem,
